Barrier Balms & Creams
Three products. One job: a comfortable skin barrier.
Your skin's moisture barrier is the outermost layer — the part that decides how much water stays in and how much of the outside world gets through. When it is working, you never think about it. When it is not, skin runs dry, tight, rough and easily upset, and nothing you put on seems to last past lunchtime.
Calm is the soothing one. A deeply soothing balm with blue chamomile, ucuuba butter, sea buckthorn and tamanu, for dry, reactive and easily-irritated skin.
Restore is the replenishing one. A rich barrier balm with hemp and oat, for dry, fragile and sensitised skin, and for overnight.
Protect is the daily one. A mineral day cream with calendula, non-nano zinc oxide and beta-carotene.
Calm or Protect in the morning. Restore before bed. Most people end up with two of the three.
The two balms are waterless, so there is no water in the formula to evaporate off and nothing that needs preserving. Short ingredient lists, every one chosen for a reason.
Formulated by a HCPC-registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist with over twenty years in NHS cellular pathology, and made in small batches in West Yorkshire.
Also suitable for people who may be prone to eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis.
Comfortable skin is a need, not a want.
